What players think
The recurring themes across 195 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The background artwork and the story were the only things that kept me playing to the end.
Highly recommend to people who like great storytelling games with non-banal gameplay.
Atmosphere is very immersive and I really enjoyed the music and voice acting.
Visually, The Great Perhaps impresses with its hand-drawn art style that perfectly balances beauty and desolation.
The Great Perhaps is an adventure game that follows an astronaut, listed as Kosmos in the subtitles, and his AI companion L9.
Gameplay: It's not complicated, but the switching back and forth in time is surprisingly well done, and the puzzles are generally simple enough to provide enjoyment without being an insult to your intelligence (well, maybe a few in the beginning are a little too easy, but after that the get slightly harder.....very slightly).
