In the original Mafia, the redemption arc, the greater purpose, is what made the story finale so iconic.
When it comes to mechanics, it is very, very close to the new remake of the original Mafia.
As a 2020 remake, I expected fancier graphics, but it still looks solid overall.
Although the original game was released in 2010, I was surprised by how well its characters, period atmosphere, and soundtrack still hold up.
The shooting part is a bit iffy and it’s not as realistic as in the remake, but the close combat system is better here, even though it’s still very plain and simple.
