Even on day 1 of EA release, CB offers an incredibly tight, challenging, unique, fun, and rewarding gameplay experience.
You can also goomba stomp on stunned enemies while jumping and even fire off you weapons while in the sky.
This difficulty does not come without reward, as hitting an enemy multiple times can quickly down even larger foes (excluding bosses, of course), especially with a couple of damage upgrades.
A grosser Binding of Isaac with a unique art style and modernized mechanics.
Nothing over the top or earworm but it lends to the game well and keeps up with the tempo of the gameplay and honestly, I don’t want much else from the sound design of a game of this genre.
