What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
As is the standard in the SciADV series, Robotics;Notes’ story starts slow, but after a few chapters, the plot quickly picks up, and it becomes a thrilling, high-stakes adventure.
What I enjoyed the most were characters (mostly), voice acting and music.
Character animations add a sense of dynamism to scenes that might otherwise feel static, while the overall aesthetic remains consistent with the series’ identity.
The art style captures the contrast between the bright, everyday setting of Tanegashima and the darker undertones of the narrative.
