What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Engaging story that will intrigue you from the start and keep you playing through its 50+ hour runtime.
The gameplay is divided into social interactions and actual sweeps of dungeons with turn-based combat, and the strength of your social links with friends and the people of Inaba affects not only completion of the story for every character, but also advantages of Personas that will be summoned by your protagonist.
The social links in this game are some of the best in the entire series, and the official soundtrack is a Shoji Meguro masterclass.
But a new coat of paint, and an art style that has more realistic character models compared to the Chibi ones in this game (which was original a PS VITA title) should do wonders for the remake.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
