Weapon/armour customization is pretty good because you can modify it with 'cards' (unfortunately right now you can't modify the perks on an item)
Finally, I bought the game as early access opened in large part because of the cute Vanquish-esque slide actions you could do all over combat.
The price is pretty low, though, and the co-op seems to mostly function playably (finally--co-op was a terrible mess for the entirety of early access), so that might earn it some time regardless, as the co-op top-down shooter ARPG space is pretty nonexistant, but co-op requires one or two more people willing to put up with it for you.
Let me start with the positives: the game has decent visuals and is optimized compared to many other games currently being released.
Solid shooting mechanics, ton of replay-ability, good performance on the Steamdeck.
