Slender Threads, developed and published by Blyts, is a tightly crafted paranormal adventure that blends classic point-and-click design with modern presentation and a strong narrative identity.
Sound design and voice acting play a crucial role in establishing tone.
The graphics are nice and atmospheric.
Gameplay adheres to the familiar structure of point-and-click adventures, emphasizing exploration, dialogue, and inventory-based puzzles.
While they rarely reach extreme difficulty, they are satisfying in how naturally they integrate into the unfolding mystery.
It's not the best point and click of your life, but it's beautiful, works with a controller, easy to follow and in fact my sole criticism of the game is the puzzles don't ever get to a place where you feel challeged, it's all pretty easy, great voice acting, enjoyable and shocking scenarios.
