Humankind is a nice change of pace and offers a different perspective on this style of gameplay, but personally, it didn’t captivate me.
Very nice visuals (cut scenes and in game) but sadly the gameplay / UI mechanics are a total disaster.
Same story for any other resource, it just feels like playing in some kind of creative mode with infinite resources.
Narrator and overall sound design (-leaders voice lines) is the best part of the game (maybe that's where all the budget went lol), but good x4 needs good gameplay mechanics first and foremost.
