Ember Knights

Ember Knights is an action rogue-lite for 1-4 players, somequite inclined for a co-op playthrough but fairly enjoyable in singleplayer mode, made by Doom Turtle and published by Twin Sails Interactive.

Incredible indie game, lovely graphics, a good mix between cozy and challenging, lovely music, lot's of fun to play with mates or your partner, my girlfriend loves it and we're both absolutely addicted, would highly recommend as it fits all difficulty ranges and playstyles!

One of the reasons was the unique wide variety of weapons (which every one has a unique three skills and charged-attack that if you time it up well it will do a big hit to the enemies).

With the multiplayer, you get to bring in your character, so you get all the progression too, which is great.

My favorite features are the way meta progression is handled, getting various "pick 1 of 3 buffs" for your runs (the ember tree) and my absolute favorite feature is the "choose your own difficulty" after your first clear.

The pixel graphics are nostalgic, music is good, and there are a lot of details to admire.
