What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There is real world and world of puzzles, and a bit of lore / story (via dialog, and pieces of story found on computers, or some items you can interact), which is nice.
Most new types of puzzles do have nice introduction, and usually the difficulty increases slowly which is good, but there are spikes in progression, which can make you stuck.
For players who thrive on cerebral challenges, this difficulty is part of the appeal.
On the other hand environment sounds are good, and voice acting is very good.
The Alabaster is rendered in subdued tones and soft lighting, creating a sense of isolation that is both peaceful and haunting.
