What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It might sound like a short game, but it offers great replayability due to different characters (of which there are currently 6) and enemy variety.
The combination of turn-based chess puzzle and rogue-like elements is entertaining, and provides stimulating tactics w/o overwhelming choice or excessive difficulty.
It seems uncomplicated on the surface but there are quite a few playable characters which significantly change up the game.
The UI, graphics, music and sound design are clean and wonderfully minimal
The gameplay is simple on the surface but a real thought-provoker, the UI is exceedingly clean, the soundtrack is great and the content has immense depth across its 10 difficulties, 6 'decks' and 3 maps.
Simple game, lacks a little juice and some mechanics rnt explained enough (specifically the character who uses completely different rules) but the combat is pretty fun
