What players think
The recurring themes across 119 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
While I had a couple issues with the crashes and difficulty curve(Naofumi almost never takes damage making every fight use him as an inconsequential meat shield) it was a fairly fun JRPG with a good amount of grind along with an enjoyable story.
While there is very little replayability in my opinion I took 11 hours on my play through which was much more than I expected.
UI menu and the anime' character art are nice inclusions to the game, but still cannot curb the sense of how it feels like a budget game mainly from recycling RPGmaker assets.
The soundtrack further enhances the experience with original compositions by Yuka Tsujiyoko, adding emotional depth to exploration, combat, and story sequences.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
