What players think
The recurring themes across 211 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Firstly, it has good rollback netcode, which makes the online of this game feel so much better than delay based.
Notably, Digital Crafter introduces a strong left-right mixup mechanic in place of throws, which I've never seen before.
My experience so far with single-player tells me this is worth playing with friends, and it would be a good way to get some of your non-FGC pals into fighting games.
The roster also has some interesting variety in juggling damage, oki setup and strong mixups, surprinsingly.
Local multiplayer is particularly enjoyable, as the game's humorous nature often leads to entertaining reactions from friends and family.
Beneath the absurd character designs and comedic presentation lies a solid combat system that offers far more depth than many players might expect.
