Well, I can't say it was an original idea—it's just a synthwave art style—but yeah, I've seen other racing games use such a concept.
The gameplay focuses on timing—the faster you are, the better you perform.
I don't seek out the sort of anime drifting car aesthetic, but the vibes in this game are amazing, the visuals, sound design and music are amazing, the only shame is that there isn't more racetracks and audio tracks - but for what there is its amazing.
The reason why I'm interested in this game is because of the gameplay controls, which I'm also surprised worked fine with my cheap Chinese knockoff controller.
The title offers multiplayer races, challenges, quick races, and even split-screen!
