What players think
The recurring themes across 244 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The gameplay is incredibly polished and insanely fun, like I said, I played the whole thing in one sitting.
The game is extremely pretty, featuring a neon glass-like aesthetic that is hard to forget accompanied by a banger of a soundtrack that provides a nice ambience for each chapter.
The art style is also absolutely gorgeous and the way the level always gets filled with debris, blood and corpses by the end is really awesome (think Fear but 2D and the contrast thrown up to 11).
From the get-go everything felt smooth and pretty much tuned to perfection, moving in his game feels wonderful with or without a controller and the combat about as crisp as I have experienced on a modern game.
It's locked at 60 FPS so I imagine it's a good fit for a Steam Deck.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
