The story was solid the gameplay was fun overally i would give it an 8/10.
Deliverance is (in my mind) one of those legendary levels (like E1M1 from Doom) with a fantastic (terrifying) boss fight and a brutal ending to a brutal game.
I think the game's age does very well for the game in terms of aesthetics - the old graphics and uncanny characters make the game much darker and scarier, the sound design helps a lot aswell with the music changing depending on the status (hidden/spotted), when you're spotted a (somewhat) loud music plays - making getting spotted scarier due to the drastic sudden change in sound.
This, plus the colour grading, lighting, heavy film grain, and the excellent musical score combine to form a spectacular backdrop for the game even despite its low-poly limit.
