Like in Half-Life 2, combat is intertwined with exploration/puzzle segments, which can be very atmospheric and add alot to the overall experience.
Combat

But the rest of the game, you kind of are completely pulled in by the claustrophobic and decrepit setting, rich in environmental storytelling, excellently crafted scripted sequences, creepy ambient noises coming from every nook and cranny, and just the classic Half-Life 2 style combat-puzzling formula that still works in my opinion very well.
Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.

So far the weapons I've gathered are pretty bog standard, pistol, hammer, smg, shotgun, rifle, grenades, but they do all feel good to use, dismembering enemies, setting them on fire, sending them flying, punchy particle effects and sound design.

G String is huge, it's very densely packed with visuals, content, information, messages, even warnings.
Performance
Players who bring up Performance mostly praise it.

It ran super smoothly for me, constant 60 fps with mostly highest settngs (except Medium shadows and Medium water reflections).
