There is a good amount of dialogue and banter between the characters.

Sure, playing it to completion involved a bit of a grind, but I feel it was worth it, especially with how much charm there was to character interactions and faithfulness to the source material.

Combat was good but repetative and later you can clear the whole map with one battle (only the boss will remain if you do a mission) meaning you can use the ability to fight 3 rounds of enemys at the start of the map and then run thru to collect items and kill the boss.

Visually, the game stays true to its anime roots through a cel-shaded art style that effectively captures the look and feel of Hiro Mashima’s designs.

The attacks look great as well, the character design is in this typical "only one expression most of the time" anime-game style.

The inclusion of Japanese voice acting with English subtitles adds authenticity, allowing players to enjoy the performances as originally intended by the creators.
