What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Graphics are absolutely wonderful for a 2019 game and co-driver is not perfect, but at least he feels alive.
WRC 9 and WRC 10 are the only rally games I can recommend besides Dirt Rally 2.0 (I play on PS5 controller).
Gameplay in these games is the most important, and this one is ROUGH, but at least I had pleasant time visually, there is a lot of decorations on the scenery, and different countries have appropriate visuals tied to them, sometimes I wished the game would let me drive off track, instead of respawning me with penalty, just to look around.
And lastly, story is non existent, for the better, when it comes to racing games.
- Adding more fun to a racing game is a must, and I'm very glad that WRC includes a split-screen mode too!
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
