What players think
The recurring themes across 202 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The driving mechanics are the heart of the experience, and they strike a balance between simplicity and nuance.
There are a good range of options, from audio, graphics, controls, etc.
Multiplayer options, both local and online, further enhance replayability, making it a strong choice for casual competition or cooperative play sessions.
I use motion controllers, and the driver’s wheel is responsive, the cars control like they’re RC cars (you have accelerate, brake, and boost, and that’s about it - brake while accelerating to drift) and it supports standard m/kb or gamepad through VR as well.
The graphics are good, lots of tracks, vehicles, power ups and weapons, local and online coop, VR and a career mode.
And with online co-op, and local/remote play co-op... there is a lot of game here for the current sale price.
