While the gameplay aspect of this game isn't new to those of us used to playing dungeon crawler-esque games, Cult of the Lamb (COTL) brings a unique world-building and narrative experience to the genre.

COTL is bright, colourful and incredibly adorable with the art style (unique from many games in its genre).
However the feeling of being repetitive is sweetened by good graphics (animations and art style), random events you can stumble upon and a nice soundtrack.
Played fully in local coop (beware, no online coop, only remote play) it's a pretty cool addictive satanicute roguelite, got us hooked for a good 50 hours without ever being boring, unfortunately the DLC is somehow meh compared to the full game.
All in all this game is amazing and is easily worth it's price and the DLC adds supreme value to it as well.
