What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Like you're used to from the Risk of Rain series, there's a lot of characters, all with unlockable skills as well as tons of items to unlock.
Music was great, visuals were appealing and well done with limited pixels, and overall the gameplay loop was addictive and fun-the first time I managed to reach the last level and beat the final boss was borderline euphoric lol.
In fact, just from a visuals standpoint, everything is so tiny on the screen that it feels like you're watching an action scene but from miles away.
Aside from unlockables and achievements, there is coop gameplay, but I believe you need to have a friend to play, I don’t think there are online lobbies.
All the animations, sound effects, music, and particle effects are gorgeous and perfectly executed.
I played using both KBM and controller, in the end I preferred controller due to platforming.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
