What players think
The recurring themes across 295 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
While I find simple for the most part they are incredibly smooth and do not interfere with gameplay.
Even as the story introduces larger conflicts and mythical undertones, the tone remains deeply human—personal, hopeful, and quietly profound.
The colours, the graphics, they are all reminiscent of things like windwaker and other colourful PS2 games.
Overall, it's a fun adventure that ratchets up nicely over the course of the game that's an easy recommend if the game looks interesting to you.
I will say there are some potential improvements, mostly areas of control, for example I can change the flute melody I am playing with either the right thumb stick (using a PS5 controller) or the D-pad, but using the D-pad also activates the functions bound to those buttons (opening your status/inventory/map).
