What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Story: very good.
But what really makes it for me is the top-tier music and art—holy crap, the OST is straight fire perfectly matching the bleak, rainy dark fantasy vibe.
Solid metroidvania — the gameplay is good enough to keep you hooked with its simple but effective loop where you play as this mute lil girl Lily, dodging blight-infected horrors in a ruined kingdom while recruiting defeated bosses and knights as "spirits" summons.
A really good metroidvania with a beautiful art style, amazing music and interesting idea of using spirits of enemies to do the fighting.
Works well on Steam Deck, no bugs or issues observed in my 20 hours with it, definitely recommend this one.
And when I first opened the game and was met with that wonderful menu music I knew I had found something worthwhile.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
