What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
As I mentioned before, I don't want to talk about the story, because I believe that it's one of the best parts of the game, but the character writing continues to be top-notch and the family is still one of the highlights and the core of the game.
While I do believe that the changes in the gameplay core regarding the petitions do make the gameplay loop easier than in the first game, I find it the system of Snowfall much more engaging and adaptable to your circumstances.
The graphics are great, the storylines are engaging, and there is an impressive amount of attention to detail.
The music, like in the first game, is still great, with a high emphasis on slavic folklore and music, with some of the themes performed by Percival (who also participated in the soundtrack for The Witcher 3).
I can't agree with the critics about the resources management nor the difficulty.
