What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
On the downside, it lacks even the light plot and setting that those games had, and more importantly their tight controls.
Screw your soul, i want good gameplay, and oh boy, this game has it.
The atmosphere and graphics are pretty dope, and I love the sound desgin and retro computer aesthetics.
The movement style is still a bit janky, but the inventory system has been completely overhauled - every item has its place in the coloured columns of the inventory, and it is way more pleasing to look at than the black and white mess it was before.
Runs flawlessly on Linux.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
