What players think
The recurring themes across 166 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Though at first glance it heavily resembles A Link to the Past and The Minish Cap, the way it actually plays is significantly different from those titles, especially in its mechanics, narrative and presentation.
The graphics are cute, the characters are charming, and the game mechanics are fairly easy to get a grasp on.
For example, the dungeon items aren't strictly necessary for the boss fights but they are still useful for general combat.
The title screen theme is a beautiful composition, and I'm quite glad to see its motif incorporated throughout the game's soundtrack.
The graphics are pretty good and evoke a nostalgic feeling of the Game Boy Advance.
If you go in with the expectation of the game being more beginner friendly and tailored towards co-op, then it truly excels as a pick up and play casual experience.
