What players think
The recurring themes across 121 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is told in flashbacks after completing certain parts.
Lots for different weapons, spells, and gear to collect, which is fun to track down, thanks to the random room generation there is simply no telling what you will find in a chest, because the loot is randomised too, so too bad for those that play games sat in front of a walkthrough haha BUT MORE replayability factor!
I love the transitions between detailed artwork and pixel graphics.
It is told through voice acting and anime style artwork which is a nice touch/reward.
To be honest once I hooked up my controller I wasn’t that bothered.
I can imagine the difficulty will increase as you progress which is both scary and exciting.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
