What players think
The recurring themes across 210 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Fun gameplay - Most of this game consists of combat, and I have to say the spells really let you get creative.
Co-op turns everything up to eleven: you get more action on screen, faster and flashier combos, more tactical variability.
The combat itself is brisk and satisfying, balancing accessibility with enough challenge to keep players on their toes.
Visuals: pretty, vibrant colors, nice monsters and generally pleasant to the eye.
The walk cycle is a bit... weird, all things considered, but character design is solid enough and it's a small enough complaint where that's mostly chalked up to the nature of the game.
The soundtrack complements this with light orchestral tones that shift smoothly between peaceful exploration and energetic battle themes.
