Which is what makes playing this a real shame because the actual gameplay mechanics in this game are fun with lots of different builds to play around with.
As I said in the first paragraph, with RPGS/Rouguelikes the most important part isn't the combat, it's great writing & an engaging world.
A NG+ option for harder difficulty/better gear might not be a bad idea during EA, but that's a tough ask.
