What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Not only do you go further, while exploring branching paths and fighting new bosses, but you also have more time to experiment.
It's not very hard, but trying out different combinations of powers and weapons is always fun, and the final bosses that turn into light bullet hells are great fights.
It feels fresh, the combat earns its complexity and difficulty, producing highly dynamic chaos where your goal is to manage and manipulate that chaos to your advantage.
The design of the game is very slick, visuals appealing, controls responsive.
The audio design complements this presentation with punchy sound effects and energetic music that reinforce the pace and tension of combat, though it rarely draws attention to itself outside of gameplay.
Performs flawlessly on the steam deck (don't judge this by the demo; the framerate has been much improved since then).
