My play time at the time of writing this is solely from playing through the full campaign, so there is a lot of content for the price.
As mentioned earlier, the H5.5 mod makes a fantastic job in providing more varied gameplay options, although it does take away some of the quirkier things you can find in the game (like more unique artefact sets, for instance).
+ Graphics are pretty good and colorful/stylish despite their age
The combat is really enjoyable and visually clear.
It's a well-made game that combines appealing and quirky visual design (that still holds up in 2019) with a surprisingly large strategic depth, giving rise to a game that is fun to play both in multiplayer (preferably with the amazing H5.5 mod) and can provide hours of fun with its engaging but lengthy campaigns (not to mention the original campaigns mod which adds 9(!)
The refined user interface supports these additions by making spellcasting and ability management smoother, which helps maintain the flow of battle without overwhelming players.
