Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.

I also like that you can change how abilities work depending on how you invest your skill points.
Co-op
Players who bring up Co-op mostly praise it.
69 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
I appreciate RPGs with co-op multiplayer because we all know there aren't enough out there, but I can't recommend this game in good faith as the setting has no soul, the exploration leaves much to be desired, and multiple game features are inconsequential (day/night cycle, most itemization outside of balancing resistances, crafting, cooking).
Story
Players who bring up Story mostly praise it.
67 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
There are also few quests that are totally optional and require player to follow through/investigate on their own, which was great.
Combat
Players who bring up Combat mostly praise it.
56 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
The bosses all feel distinctive and are definitely the highlight of the game's combat, with the exception of the dragon which constantly cycles into an invincible flying state, making it the most tedious fight.
Characters
Players who bring up Characters mostly praise it.
34 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
With its character customization, crafting system, expansive world, tiered gear system, minigame option, and so many quests, it has become my favorite in the series.
Difficulty
Players who bring up Difficulty mostly praise it.
33 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
But, generally speaking, these are relatively minor and are offset by the solid gameplay and enjoyable challenge at the hardest difficulty.
