The overall best game of the collection, art direction is gorgeous at times and the gameplay is the best with the Souls system.
The central gimmick, souls, is engaging. it replaces sub weapons and instead you gain the 'souls' of your enemies which allow the use of their abilities (or they're just stat buffs in certain cases).
The story is something I enjoy as a fan, first and foremost.
Where CotM lacks graphically, and HoD lacks in soundtrack, AoS excels in both.
Aria of the Sorrow improves upon the rest games from the pack especially when it comes to the graphics and animations.
It works great on my PC with and without a controller (please use a controller) and I mostly play it on my Steam deck, where it really shines considering these were originally mobile titles.
