Story-wise, it’s pretty much the same: you control Abe and try to free as many fellow Mudokon workers from the clenches of the evil Glukkon factory bosses.
The gameplay is some of the most compelling for me, I love these games and their world building.
Like the first game, Abe's Exoddus is an action puzzle platformer with fantastic graphics for the time it was released, and a great story with very deep lore.
All this being said, after finally getting this game set up to actually work with my controller, I'd like to add that as a veteran player of this game, this port is not as good as the original PS1 version.
The story elements, the setting, the soundtrack and the characters make it up for one of the greatest cinematic experiences I've ever experienced.
