As a huge fan of the original story, when I happened upon this game I knew I had to play it.
From the monochromatic black-and-white background with red accents, to the unique art style and sound design, this short and sweet game was beautiful and fun to play.
The puzzle elements are a nice touch to the side-scrolling exploration platformer, slightly challenging by themselves, but are simple enough for anyone to figure out. (i.e. collecting items, riddles, Simon Says)
Either way, the sound design, and character design tie together to make this fun play-through.
To Red's lovely character design, to the ominous scenery, and of course the monsters with bizarre features- it's the perfect combination of charm and horror.
