What players think
The recurring themes across 216 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There are a lot of weapon variety and weapons feel great to use.
But of course, this is a video game, and the gameplay feels most excellent here too.
Even on the third difficulty setting, the game can be brutally challenging.
This one aspect of the game I can’t say a huge amount about specifically because of the indirect storytelling method, and needing to see where it goes with chapters 2 and 3, but I think it was the best manner to tell the story the devs want to with it.
SOUND DESIGN: Gun sounds are impactful, player/enemy footsteps and movements sound good, asset destruction sounds and feels satisfying, and the ambient noises do a great job of making you feel like you're in the presented environment.
The art style is very aesthetically pleasing and the lighting is really well done.
