What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is great and can summarize to father and son going on a journey together, bonding, dealing with grief, family issues, can't hide from your past, and improving as a person.
Gameplay is tons of fun, primarily the combat.
The graphics are beautiful, and the performance is excellent.
Hitting enemies has wonderful feedback, animations are wonderful (and so is the accompanying sound design, especially the crunch of weapon combos, executions and parries).
Plus, it plays really well on Steam Deck!
I believe it is one of the few games that realy balances story, combat/boss fights and graphics and a game that is way more optimized then you would think because of the looks of the game.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
