What players think
The recurring themes across 35 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The gameplay is super enjoyable, managing the different mechanics to the multisensory visuals actually feels more exhilarating than frustrating or nerve-wracking.
Basic gameplay can be exciting especially at harder difficulties, and when the game hits the right song with the right difficulty it shows its potential.
While the music leaves a lot to be desired, buying this one on sale definitely feels worth the price tag for the content and difficulty.
I have no doubt that there was serious work and effort put forward in the game and it's soundtrack but with games like Muse Dash (1/3 the cost of Beat Souls) which has a stellar soundtrack with fully vocalized tracks and Beat Souls sounds like royalty free music from Youtube.
