What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
What makes Broken Arrow so good is how well it captures modern warfare while keeping the gameplay understandable.
It still delivers one of the best modern combat RTS experiences currently available, but $50 is a steep entry point for newcomers, especially with the lack of major sales, the game’s current issues, and the need for more content to keep the experience fresh.
I love the core idea, the setting in a near-future Baltic conflict, the incredible deck-building system, the stunning graphics and unit detail, and above all the pure feeling of thinking about playing Broken Arrow.
Honestly, I enjoy it quite a lot now, when you can play co-op vs AI
The deck building gives endless variety, the visuals and sound design are top-tier, and the tactical depth can keep you hooked for hundreds of hours if the technical side ever catches up.
