This is a very chill game so the gameplay is not really deep, but it is fun and easy to learn gameplay loop in the first 30-ish minutes.
In terms of hours of gameplay, it took me about six or seven hours to complete the main story and clean everything up.
You can ascend and descend with by holding the keys for it and actually on the back of your character you can see an up or down arrow lighting up depending on the action you are doing, you also have a boost button which gives you slightly more speed when swimming and its limited but can be upgraded later on.
The soundtrack complements the visuals perfectly—gentle synths, airy chimes, and soothing ambient hums that ebb and flow like the tide itself.
I played this on Steam Deck and while it's a great fit for handheld, it's surprisingly power-hungry.
The map is easy to navigate and I never felt confused on what to do next.
