-Controller work well during the regular gameplay loop, but menus and the decorating interface are horrendous.
I think the designs are wonderful, the dialogue is fun and cute, the story is a little bit one-dimensional but I think it fits in with the style the game is going for.
At a first glance, this cutesy "good-vibe" type of game that shares some similarities with Animal Crossing but also where you manage a shop with neat visuals, character designs, personalities of each characters, and animations that fit the characters well with the main story being alright on where the direction leads to.
Amber isle is a charming game is fantastic character design, amazing art, and a captivating world.
(It's also lovely on the Steam Deck, but be aware that the selection and rotation button (right joystick) are the same in the character creator)
