The two main things for a visual novel are Art & Writing, In the case of Love Sucks: Night One, both are great and compliment each other perfectly with fun designs & dialogue, lively characters with entertaining dynamics, simple yet interesting monster world building & a tinge of fourth wall breaks when it comes to driving the plot forward.
All the characters are so well-rounded and unique, the voice acting is incredible, and I absolutely love the character design and art style!
The graphics of the game are really very good, have an excellent 2D artwork with a unique style and tends to go more on the side of western, although the game does not have animations the comic book style transitions allow you to give very good flow from one scene to another.
Night two adds SO many more options than night one, making for Great replayability, even after getting all the achievements.
Loved each individual character and makes it hard to decide on just 1.
