- It's was a fantastic idea to mix in the soundtrack from the older games.
- I really liked the progression of unlocking a new powerup per world.
At it's core, the game's art style can best be described as a programmer compensating for their programmer art by deliberately rendering the game world as a world of abstract shapes and doodles drawn onto various scraps of paper.
This game felt made for a steam deck experience so that's what I played it on.
Had I simply played the story, maybe gone for a few collectibles for the fun of it and called it a day, I would say this is hands down a must play.
along with a bonus multiplayer world, OG levels, and a great soundtrack!
