What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Its beautiful low-poly visuals give the impression of playing a game from 30 years ago, in the best possible way.
The game embodies depth in simplicity, mile high skill ceilings, and addictive gameplay.
If you have basic FPS game literacy, some determination, and enjoy being challenged, I really believe you can get great enjoyment out of Hyper Demon, without even needing to beat it (I haven't... yet).
That combined with excellent sound design means that you'll me more aware of the threats around you than in any other game.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
