What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There is also a good deal of replayability; probably 100-200 hours worth to get all the achievements.
Being able to change the difficulty by wealth generation, civ choice AND win conditions is a big plus!
26 hours in and i think i finally fully understand all the game mechanics, its fun, only played first map and a bit of multiplayer.
I really like the general outline of the game of the game, the art style and the quick pace.
Really fun to play with friends - especially when you are sitting in the same room.
Tl;dr: All in all, it's an elegant and very boardgame-like strategic experience, with an immersive setting and a flavourful soundtrack.
