What players think
The recurring themes across 243 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Everything in this game feels as smooth as butter to play, the gameplay and story are engaging, the music is phenomenal and there was a lot of love put into the art and characters.
There is a plot that explains why you're doing what you're doing; for a shoot 'em up, I think the story succeeds at being interesting and easy to grasp while not insisting upon itself or being too disruptive.
If you like themes of Found Family & Moral Complexity with some of the best Platforming you've ever jumped in your life with a banger soundtrack & amazing visuals all while feeling like a total badass shredding through enemies, Contract Rush DX might just become an instant classic like it has for me.
Replay value receives a significant boost through the game's selection of playable characters.
The visuals alone drew me in and got me interested in checking this game out.
This sense of charm balances the difficulty and helps create an atmosphere that is inviting even when the gameplay becomes intense.
