What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The charm-mechanic is really neat, it adds a good chunk of variety for any given card
The town’s visual design, like the rest of the game, is endearing and full of personality, creating a cozy atmosphere that contrasts nicely with the unforgiving battles.
Art style is what drew me in for this rogue-lite deck builder
Beyond the lovely graphics and epic soundtrack, this is a super rich game full of original ideas.
But what makes this not a problem is that combat has a high skill expression, in which having a strong deck alone isn't usually enough (most of the time).
Beating the "storm levels" up to 10 and getting the true ending was tense and exciting, but if you are looking for very high difficulty just know that I was able to beat each of them, including the true ending, on my first try (I did have around 40 hours of experience and every other achievement before attempting them though).
