What players think

Summun Aeterna (SA) hits all the best qualities of Roguelikes: cool and meaningful/reliable global progression to power up your character (The Dark Lord!), dynamic gameplay, meaningful customization, gorgeous art style, fun music, and the good type of grind that feels fun and not like a hassle or time waster.
The weapons all feel quite different and the game allows for run to run customization of your weapons.
The graphics are really polished, no stuttering, no weird visual bugs, but i do have one complaint on this point.
There is SOOO MUCH stuff to unlock to break down the barrier of difficulty.
The humor, the easter eggs, the soundtrack, the smooth controls and very addicting gameplay loop, the possibilities to customize your character to your playstyle are all fantastic and make this game just hit all the right points.
The bit of dialogue between some of the characters was fun, although the protagonist himself is a bit too "badass" at times.
