Secondly, three of the five weapons feel so good and unique to play, that the other two seem lackluster in comparison.
Luckily, those mechanics synergize fantastically with the this game's implementation of the core gameplay loop so I certainly won't complain.
The story is cute, the art is cute, the scaling of the difficulty is clever as all hell and left me itching for another run every time I died.
Boss designs, attacks, and how they fit into the story and world-building lore are great.
The art style is pretty charming and nice to look at, and the music didn't seem too special, but it really grew on me, especially the boss themes.
OST is a collection of bangers, particularly the boss tracks, and also the track that plays when you 1v1 an enemy on what's essentially Super Smash Bros.'
